Canary
Cottage stands in a prime position on the farm, overlooking
its fields and historic farm buildings.
We offer self-catering accommodation
for two people (with space for a travel cot). The cottage
is semi-detached, all on one level but is spacious and attractively
decorated. It is centrally heated throughout. Being
close to the house means we are on hand to welcome you and
help with any queries but it has its own entrance, terrace
for sitting out and a car parking area.
The
farm and Canary Cottage reside in an Area of Outstanding Natural
Beauty, famous for both its coast and countryside and easily
explored by car, bike or foot. The nearest town of Wells-next-the-Sea
is two miles away with shops, bank, post office, tourist information
centre etc. The nearby villages each have a pub and
are full of character ranging from peaceful Burnham Thorpe
to the sophisticated and bustling Burnham Market. The
coastline is popular both in winter and of course in the summer.
The renowned Holkham beach is only 3 miles away.
The
kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooker, a microwave
and a washing machine and is adjacent to the dining area.The
comfortable sitting room has a panoramic view across the farm
meadow and beyond to the magnificent woods of Holkham Park.
It has a television and
a small library of books. In the bedroom there is an extra
large double bed, which can be converted into twin beds, and
the room has a view over the tennis court with its bordering
beech hedge.
There
is a separate w/c and a warm bathroom with bath, shower, basin
and shaving point. Bed linen, duvets and tea towels are
provided but please bring your own towels.
The cottage is equipped
with a good supply of tourist information. There is an
all-weather tennis court and a heated swimming pool in season,
all available by arrangement. Bring your own racquets
and balls for tennis.
We are confident you will

We regret we cannot accommodate pets and there is no smoking
in the cottage.
